Vantec Locates $4.4 Million Plastics Manufacturing Operation in Falls City
Iowa-based Vantec, Inc. announced today it will be expanding manufacturing operations into Falls City, Nebraska. The company will locate in an existing 40,000 sq. ft. industrial building and will employ over 25 people with plans to expand operations and employment in the future. The total project investment is $4.4 million. The Nebraska Department of Economic Development is providing working capital investment through Community Development Block Grant funds.
Gov. Heineman, State Sen. Lavon Heidemann, Falls City Mayor Rodney Vandeberg, Nebraska Department of Economic Development Director Richard Baier and representatives of the Falls City Economic Development and Growth Enterprise (EDGE) joined company officials in making the announcement. “I applaud the decision to expand operations here in Nebraska and commend everyone with Vantec for helping to create jobs here in Falls City,” Gov. Dave Heineman said. “I know everyone has invested a lot of time and energy in this project and I want to offer my appreciation to all those who have supported business development in this community.”
