Nebraska Ranks 10th on Forbes List of “The Best States for Business”
Nebraska ranks 10th on Forbes list of “The Best States for Business.” On specific indices, Forbes ranked Nebraska 9th in “quality of life”—based on schools, health, crime, cost of living and poverty rates; 12th in “regulatory environment”—based on incentives for businesses, regulatory and tort climate, transportation and bond rankings; and 13th in ” business costs”—based on costs of labor, energy and taxes. In other rankings released this year, Nebraska ranks:
- 4th in the “Top 10 States for Quality of Life.” Nebraska made an excellent showing my moving from 9th to 4th place this year. (Business Facilities - 2008)
