Falls City Industrial Park
Prime industrial sites are available in the Falls City Industrial Park, situated at the U.S. Highways 73 and 159 and served by the BNSF and Union Pacific railroads. The park was completely upgraded in 1999 with new utilities, public access and telecommunications services. Current occupants include: Airlanco, Ames True Temper, Herzog, Vantec, Inc. and Watkins Aircraft Support Products (WASP).

The conceptual design for the 10.1 acre expansion of the park has been completed and mass grading of the site has been completed. The site plan is designed to be flexible and includes development of a 40,000 sq. ft. to 80,000 sq. ft. expandable building. There is ample space for larger building and future growth. The mass grading and utility design allow for the potential of a green area and retention pond in order to meet LEED certification requirements. Land is available in the Falls City Industrial Park for development of a dual rail-served site. A preliminary 80-acre site conceptual plan has been completed. The plan could be expanded up to 200 acres.

Available Industrial Buildings
The following industrial buildings are currently available in the park and ready for occupancy:
Airlanco, recently acquired by Canadian-based Ag Growth International, chose Falls City to expand its operations, purchasing a 17,770 sq. ft. building in the Falls City Industrial Park. The expansion will create 15 new jobs generating over $1 million dollars in new wages and generating approximately $1 million dollars in new capital investment.
10,082 sq. ft. former fertilizer plant building features 24′ x 36′ office area, 24′ x 36′ shop warehouse dock, 3,600 ton fertilizer storage, a 9′ x 60′ truck scale and a 30′ x 48′ shop. It also includes 360′ of railroad track with spur line for car storage and daily, reciprocal switching between BNSF and UP railroads.
