Nebraska could experience moderate economic growth during the first three months of 2017, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Bureau of Business Research reported today.
The state’s leading economic indicator rose by 1.14 percent in September, said economist Eric Thompson, the bureau’s director.
“The September increase is a positive sign for economic growth in 2017,” Thompson said. “The solid increase in the indicator suggests that growth will be moderate, rather than slow, during the first quarter of 2017.”
